hi I’ve got windows installed on my new drive but the pc is coming on and off help please or us just got a kernel security check wot is going on ?

When I do a Samsung magician speed test the drive it gets to 80 percent then pc locks up?>?>?

Have you tried with CPU at stock settings?
(BIOS should have profiles for saving current settings)
 
update when I turned my pc on today it came on went off and came on again then it came up with something like my mobo went into safe mode but it eventually get it on. now I just remembered that I didn't disconnect to 2 drive s when installing windows 10 could this be the problem?.
 
Update reinstalled windows this morning with all the drives disconnected . Same problem pc powers on goes if come back on etc wot is going on with is melting lol.
 
Have you tried installing on another drive and if so does that do the same leave the one your useing now disconnected
 
Thank you for the reply I bought this drive off the bay to good to pass up . My pc was fine before I put this drive in but no I get like a boot loop when I turn it on in the morning but once it’s on there’s not a problem . It can be annoying just . Thank you for the reply I thought this place was a ghost town lol. This drive is in slot 2 on the motherboard I’ve tried different drivers windows update but still the same.
