Been a bit of a hermit lately when comes to the NXE. Whats exactly in this new update? I know you get new look, games on the HDD etc, but what extra features come with it?

Anyone got a source where explains whats included?

I said 'much new'. Proper party implementations? From what I can tell that means playing 'photo party' as there isn't much else at the moment that you couldn't do already (ignoring the rip-off avatars). You could have parties within games, they just seem to have extended that to the dashboard so on the off chance that you have a group of friends that all happen to decide together to change the game they're playing, you can and stay together.

And with regards to installing to hard drive, it's an evolution yes, but it's nothing to rejoice over as all it's doing is reducing load times and making the console quieter. MS will probably also use it as a work around for not having a larger capacity disk functionality than DVD (unlike Sony with Blu Ray) and will release games with more than one disk.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a PS3 and I think that the xbox is better at what it does, but everyone doing back flips and saying 'OOooo I wish I wasn't at work' seems a bit of an extreme over reaction.
 
I'm pretty pleased with this update so far - feels very slick.

Does anyone know if there's a way to tag multiple (and I mean loads!) of files for Ideletion at once? I've got stacks of olf Fallout 3 saves that take up hundreds of mbs that I'd like to ditch in one go. Manually deleting one at a time doesn't bear thinking about!

Failing that, is there anyway to get a networked pc to access the 360's harddrive so I can do the same thing via Windows?

Same thing happened to me. Was downloading the update (still on old dash at this point), goes to a blank screen thinking my 360 had restarted, but nope, 3 red rings. :(
 
I found an easter egg!


When you're on 'My Xbox', quickly rotate your right thumbstick, and your avatar becomes dizzy and the eyes go round in circles! LOL!

Then try moving the right thumbstick horizontally from left to right really quickly, and your avatar creates an angry expression, its hilarious :D:D:D
