I'm not having much luck since the release of NXE.
I have a BenQ G2400W 24" 16:10 monitor and a pro 360 using a cheap HDMI cable. I used the headphone socket on the monitor to grab the sound signal to feed a pair of turtle beach X1s.
When updating to NXE, on the second reboot, I lost all audio!
Audio was fine before NXE.
I've resorted to buying the official Microsoft HDMI cable with the included audio adapter, now using the phonos on that.
Sound is now fine but video isn't!
When setting the Xbox to 1920x1080 in system settings, the dashboard is noticably running at a lower framerate. The problem isn't just limited to the dashboard either, Cod5 slows down to ~30fps.
In fact, all game's framerate has dropped. I've tried reverting back to my old HDMI cable, no difference. What's really strange is the 'flickering' borders, inherent when running 1080p through the G2400W, are now solid black. I suspect the xbox is outputting something other that 1080p@60Hz, however, the monitor's OSD reports 1920x1080@60hz.
In an attempt to rule out a faulty monitor/Xbox, I've tried a friends un-updated xbox on the monitor, set to 1080p, working fine, nice and smooth. Updated his xbox to NXE, applied 1920x1080, slow again... Arghh!
Anyone else experiencing this with their monitor/TV?
