Hello All and good evening,
I recently purchased an NZXT multi channel fan hub (or whatever you want to call it)
The power comes from a molex connected to the power supply, and 10 3-pin fans can be connected to it.
The problem is, the fans run at 12v, and as a result are rather noisy.
I bought the hub to keep cabling tidy - the instructions say that it can be plugged into a fan controller.
1. wouldn't that mean a single output would control all fans attached to the hub at once
2. what would have been the point of me buying the hub in the first place?
I need to make things quieter, can I control the amount of power that is being supplied to the hub with some form of resistor?
Any help is appreciated
