Hi all,

Just got the sentry 2 and had a couple of questions..

firstly, the tempreture probes, should i attach those near the fan its self or near the item its meant to be cooling?

second question, the controller monitor's 5 fans..

Now I have 6 Fans:

1 Front - Intake
1 Side - Intake
Top - Extract
Top - Extract
Rear - 1x Intake + 1x Extract (Corsair H70 Push&Pull Setup)

the rear fans for the H70 are connected together however will the fan controller run the right voltage for them if i connect them to the fan controller as 1 fan?

or if i disgregard one of the fans on the H70 and connect it to just one, the intake one for example will that not push too much air into the push pull system for the extract fan to handle?

not sure why how to approach this..?

Thanks for your advise.

You just need to do the math. Somewhere on the Sentry should be its max output in both amperes (current) and volts (voltage) per channel. Similarly your fans should state their required current/voltage at max RPM and see whether two combined is greater than or equal to what the Sntry states as its max for one channel.

Edit: Not on the Sentry itself I mean but in its manual and/or box. Failing those googlage :)
