NZXT SENTRY 2

Sorry bad wording.

I disconnected the speaker as the sound was annoying.

It couldn't power the 180mms fans at full speed (1000rpm) but the 120mm's fans are fine.

It does look good and works great when it can power a fan to the max rpm.

TimMatrix, I am sure you will have no problem with the Sentry2 but it is not ideal for me which is a shame!
 
Is it permissible to connect the H50's pump to the Nzxt SENTRY 2, under Fan No.5, and leave it at the recommended RPM as defined by Corsair's? This way, I could monitor that the pump is working, due to 3rd pin of the fan connector cable.....?

Please advise?
 
I had got my Sentry LX in my antec 1200 case now.

Need a new 2 x 120mm rear fan with 3 pin, and 1 x 200mm top big fan with 3 pin for Sentry LX as the Antec 1200 own fan doesn't come with any 3 pin connecter.

I love the sentry LX as it automatically adjustment the fan speed according to the system temperature in the case with the cpu cooler. Did some test with 4.4Ghz with start off with 4 cores / 4 threads with prime95 stress:

Can anyones from ocuk advise me which case fans is the best one for my new sentry LX, it must come with 3 pin connecter and need speed RPM show as well. anything from 600rpm to 1600rpm fan with great airflow.
 
buyer beware

I bought a sentry 2 from another site for my case and spent an hour routing all my fan cables up to the drive bay its sits in. I turned the thing on only to hear an awful noise coming from all fans ( Fractal Design 120/140 3 pin ).

There seems to be plenty of people using the sentry 2 happily but others have the same problem and have posted on other forums. I dont know what the problem is but my suspicions are theres a dodgey batch going around at the moment.
