O2 box IV with USB

I recently bought one of these wireless routers in a o2 offer for 10 quid, it was basically P&P as i already had a o2 II box , ive tried to connect a usb HDD to the router to share files to my house network and avi's to my TV but i cant seem to get it working

any one know a quick easy guide to setting this up to share media ?
 
surely o2 would have included some instructions for using the router?
i'd hazard a guess that the options of USB drive/pen sharing over the network would be in the routers configuration.

can i ask how you got from your old o2 box to your new one? as a mate of mine has version 2 as well and for £10 i doubt he could go wrong in buying it. also were there any improvements in wifi or adsl being stable than with the older box ?

Theres no manual just a set up disc which doesnt cover any of the UBS features =/

as for the box its self well its ok i guess , its wireless N which is better than my old b/g box but just recently ive had to move my main pc upstairs while we have work done downstairs,ive set up a wireless N dongle and altho its connecting ok it keeps losing signal which aint brilliant =/

worth a tenner i guess,i'll look further into the USB issue

Did you buy this in shop or online?

EDIT: Chatting online to an O2 rep via BB Agency Assistant see what they say! hmm they say it's £50.00 if you take out one of the packages.. never mind.

CSA did you just pop into a o2 store to get the router for £10?
did you have to trade in your old router or ?
 
i just popped into the store , dunno if you guys ever check out "hot uk deals" but there was a post on there saying these where going for 10 quid , so i phoned up my local o2 shop and asked if they where instock and selling for the discounted price,i gave them a discount code 7777 i think it was and the girl said yeah i'll put one to one side for you come down and get it


went in , no need to trade in a router or take any o2 deal/package out,infact she didnt even ask if i was with o2 for broadband

dunno when this deal expires but maybe worth checking your local store :)
