O2 broadband?

Do 02 have any download limits/FUP?

Before I ordered the O2 20meg package I rung them and asked that question. They told me I can download as much as I want. Im downloading about 80-90gb a month and Ive not had any warnings from them at all.

Highly recommended!!!!!!

I've to be honest had very good service from them at o2, though the speed i was getting was poor. I started by getting their maximum speed service 20mb, only to find once connected i couldn't get that because i live about 1-2 mile away from that exchange then in the settle down period it went from 7.5mb down to what it is now of just under 5mb. They can't do anything about that, hence i'm moving from adsl to cable with virgin media. But as a whole o2 very good, but looked at Be* too as i was once with them at another house getting 16mb :D

I have just signed up for 02 16mb service and will keep you up to date with progress. I am encouraged by the comments on here and am just glad to be getting away from AOL. Incidentally, will my AOL email address die with my account?

Got your jolt ping at approximately 9.30 pm:-

It'll depend on the interleaving depth that's set, or whether you're using interleaving at all. I can't see any option to extract the interleaving depth from the BeBox, but my 877 shows it when it's connected.

With everything as it is by default, and doing ~450kbps upstream, I get:

20 packets transmitted, 20 received, 0% packet loss, time 19001ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 41.274/46.269/60.835/6.074 ms

damn, my battlefield is gonna suffer with 50ms pings :(

Im used to 10ms on Eclipse (but a crappy download speed)

Maybe we'll get a better profile or something on the business connection.

Be* connection here on fastpath

I was gonna migrate to o2, but after being told they only offer interleaved connections, I didn't bother :D

By 11 pm that ping is about 40 ms. I play UT3 regularly and anything with a ping up to 100 is fine by me tbh.

Still if you are used to virtually no lag (), then I can see your point.
