Is it still down? at work I can only get a GPRS/E connection, it was working okay this morning, but now I am getting the errors we seen last week of that 'they is no connection'.

Anyone else got problems?

Seems fine here - 3G signal which is surprising as I live in a signal void.

I've got a stonking great 5 bar 3G signal but it's not working at all, if I turn wireless off then I get no data transfer at the moment. It's been like it for a while this morning.

It has been up and down for a couple of weeks for me now :(
And it's down again for me - I have a 3G connection (Sometimes goes to Edge) but they are both not working at the moment...

How do you have that info platypus?

Ah, phew! I turned 3G off last night, turned it back on this morning and thought I had broke something as nothing's working!

Down for me in central London.

I've had my iPhone for two weeks and I've had a total of 3 days total data outage. Even when it is working, it's incredibly slow.

O2 really need to sort their network out.

All these problems at the time Apple are (rumoured) to be looking at offering the iPhone on different networks.

A few days outage I can cope with, but its been close to two weeks now and its still not working as it should be!

ARGHHHHHHHHH

I just updated to 3.0.1 and because EDGE/GPRS wasn't working I just DFU restored it to try and fix it, when it (appears) wasn't even broken in the first place!

Sounds like their data network has suffered a switch or server outage.

I've seen network outages before - trust me when this happens everyone feels it (operator and vendors). The fun will continue with investigations on lost revenue too..

It's already confirmed that T-Mobile and Orange will be offering iPhone 3G [not the new 3GS... for now?] contracts in September/October.

I dont mean to hijack the thread but I have a quick question and am sure you guys in this thread will know the answer.

I currently have another thread running regarding mms and o2 but what I am wanting to check on is this.

Am I right in thinking that the settings in Cellular Data Network should be changed from the idata.o2.co.uk to mobile02.co.uk and for the mms settings change from idata.o2.co.uk to wap.o2.co.uk.

I know it says this on the o2 website but am just after some confirmation.

Cheers
