O2 Free Texts?

Hi, ive just bought a new phone on O2 from the O2 store.

Is it possible to activate the 300 free texts by topping up £10 a month on the supplied sim card, or is it only avaliable on the online sim cards they give you for free?

If it is avaliable on this card how do i activate it?

*EDIT* Just found it, text the phrase TEXTANYTIME to 21300.

only 10 though, was better when it was 100 texts a month

You simply top up with £10, you can however ring up and register for either "texter" or "talker". Depending which you choose and depending how much you top up in the month will depend on how many free texts or talktime you get. So if you go for the texter option and put £25 on your phone, come your "aniversary date"(that would be one month from when you activated the card) you would be get an allowance of 500 txts instead of the 300 which you would have gotten if you had only topped up with £10. I think if you topped up with £30 you would get 1000 texts come your "anniversary date". All the information is on the 02 web site

I remember when it was 600 texts a month! I didn't know enough people to text though

They cut back when they realised that texts were actually becoming popular
