O2 Orbit phone

Just got this phone a few days ago and i am really pleased with it. Just installed skype on it, should cut my mobile bill down a fair bit as i phone abroad quite often. Just waiting for a 2gig card to come through the post before i can install any more software. I have made sure that i have all the gprs stuff switched off. One question i have is, is it possible to stream media, not copy i can do that fine, but have no idea about streaming media?

Are you guys using the screen protector on your orbit? (I've always been against using these things as I think they look naff)

Not right now, but i do plan to get another one. Got dirt underneath the first one so was useless.

Can anyone link me to a program which i can use while typing txt messages, i'm after a normal phone keypad that i could use with my fingers to type txts out.

One more thing, how do I go about installing windows mobile 6 on the orbit? Is the software out yet, and if so where can I get it from?

Cheers,

Officialy, no it's not, and that's all I think anyone will be allowed to say as Microsoft are now slamming down hard on distributions of WM6 whereas in the past they've been pretty laid back over it.

However...

Summer 2007 (no specific date) sees the a Swedish phone company offering free upgrades to WM6 on the Artemis range of HTC phones so I would have thought July/August we'll be seeing sites offering the ROM to download.

If you goto http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=318 and read the threads relating to WM6 or more specifically "Crossbow" (the codename for WM6) you'll get more details, but like I've mentioned above, it's a little more tight-lipped that it once was.

Just saw this phone yesterday while I was checking out a phone shop in town, didn't even know it existed but it caught my eye straight away and looked really nice. I currently have an xda mini S and I'm thinking of getting this or the N95. One thing I've never used on the xda is the slideout keyboard so the fact this comes without that and is slimmer is a good thing for me. Few questions though...

1 - Does the built-in GPS work ok with TomTom?
2 - Could I use my mini SD card in there or does it take something else?
3 - How does this phone compare with the N95?

Two questions:

Does it take a standard 3.5mm headphone jack?
What's the biggest memory card it can take? I know my N73 can only take 2gb it seems as above this the cards are slightly different and it can't read them...

Cheers

I've always found Brando screen protectors to be exceptional. Reusable, leaves absolutely no marks, stays on firmly once applied and has quite a tough exterior surface.

But with any of them, you have to be very careful not to scratch the side that touches the screen, because that side seems to be more sensitive and easy to scratch off a mark compared to the exterior side, which is much more tough.
