So my question is how is this considered to be a deal, the only thing I can presume is that for it to be a deal you pay the £369.99 upfront and then you can cancel the contract:confused:

You pay the device plan x the number of months remaining on your contract so take the 1st options from the link posted above:

Upfront cost £9.99
Monthly cost £33 (£15 device plan / £18 airtime)
£15 x 24 = £360
Total = £369.99


I done this a couple of months ago for the Nexus 7 Lte, rang o2 2 days later and paid £190 and contract finished. (Saved over £100 plus is not locked to o2)

BTW make sure you cancel the airtime plan when you cancel the device plan.
 
I'm on O2 refresh and it's pretty good. Had 10 months left on my HTC one contract. Can upgrade now by just paying off the rest of my phone plan for £200 and get the new HTC one M8. I can probably get the £200 by selling my current phone.

Works well as I used to hate upgrading early and paying a few months worth of airtime that I couldn't use. This way the airtime is completely separate and you don't lose out by upgrading early.
