O2 Sensor readings different on each bank (jag v6)

Hi All,

I changed a faulty upstream O2 Sensor on my 3.0 x type, I now get different readings on each bank (1.2v on one and 1.4v on the other) is it normal to have such a difference between the two banks? This is on a cold engine.

It seems to run okay although there might be a bit of hesitation when revving in neutral.

Assuming they are standard narrowband sensors (1,2,3 or 4 wires), the voltage with a cold engine is irrelevant. You need to get the engine hot and ensure that the voltages on both sensors are cycling from close to zero volts to 1 volt or more, preferably faster than once per second.
