Hi there,

Copied and pasted this from the thread about dual sim's as I thought it may be useful to some people.

O2 has just released an app called "tu go" for its pay monthly customers which essentially means you can use two to five devices with the same phone number so long as you have a data connection. It even allows you to turn your PC/Tablets into a phone (its only available on IOS, Android and windows PC atm, but they are eventually going to release versions for windows phone and blackberry).

You just download it onto your device and it allows you to use your Contract minutes and texts and works exactly as if you were making a call or text from the primary device. It even shows up with your phone number at the receiving end (the receiving end does not have to have the app installed unlike skype whatsapp etc). Also if someone calls/texts you all the devices tied to the account will light up at the same time and you can answer any one of them so you dont have to set a preferential one or anything.

Gizmodo actually did a review of it today which goes more in depth so have yourself a read

And heres the links to download.
IOS:

Android:

Hope this helps.

There we go, links should be fixed now.

Have you downloaded the app already? Are you an O2 consumer pay monthly customer?

I literally just downloaded the app. Put my phone number in, it sent a verification code to my phone which I put in and hey presto it worked. :)

One of the great things about it is if you struggle to get a good signal in your house. Download this app, connect it to your wifi and alas no more problems with calls or texts. Same goes for any blackout zones or if a mast goes down in your area. So long as you have an internet connection of some form you should never be without a means of communication again.
