Morning all.
Ok just been on o2's website and realise that they now allow certain customers to upgrade mega early for a fee - swear this is a new thing as they never let me do it before.

I currently have a desire , no problems with it really can be a little slow at times but think it more down to the rom im using.

potentially looking to get a sg2 , now i could wait until end of april next year and upgrade then as standard or i could pay £80 now + price of phone and upgrade today. <-- this is quite tempting.

so what do you think worth it? or should i just wait? any superduper phone getting released early next year that would make me stick to the desire for now?

thx.

Screens will move to 720p and core speed / mem will increase. This is going to sound odd and slightly forcasty but a boatload of phones will be released in spring to try and snap up the iPhone 4 end-of-life contracts which will be paired with a stable version of Android ICS. The iPhone 5 will likely see a launch within 2 months and depending on it's features may shove the market in one way or another. RIM should have a low/mid consumer handset out by then to replace the current aging one. The desire 3/SGS3 will likely show in Q1 again - HTC would like to retain all the original desire customers (and there were a lot of them) who went 24m.
