O2 vs BE

i've been with BE for years now. best customer service i've ever used. whenever i've had a problem i've been up and running again in minutes. they really are worth it. o2 on the other hand are **** poor when it comes to customer service.

the products might be virtually identical but i'd always rather pay a tiny sliver more for proper support.
I found the opposite, back when I lived down in south London my Be service fell over completely - download speeds dropped massively and suffered constant disconnections. From reading their forums many other users were having the same problem - it appeared that they had taken on more subscribers than they could handle.
When I complained they offered no sort of discount or refund to compensate me for the poor service, and just tried to place the blame on BT.
I left and joined O2 - might be the same network but I've found their customer service to be miles better.

I'm in the London, Middlesex area and have been with BE for 4yrs now. Easily the best ISP I've ever been with. On the few times I have used their CS, they have been totally superb despite being based in Europe with very long names.

Whoever recently re-designed their website in FrontPage 98 needs to be shot, repeatedly.

I'm on Be in Kennington, London. 23Mb sync, fastpath etc. Absolutely faultless service, and only £12.50 a month! I told them I had an O2 mobile (true), and that I could get a similar if not identical service for less, and they were happy to reduce my bill. Jolly good company in my eyes.

This isn't strictly true, I believe its their policy to set interleaving to ON but I've had it disabled for me before when I used to be with them, it was a lot of hassle through!

let me know how you did it cus I have tried and tried, they point blank refuse to do it.
