anyone using o2 and plays world of warcraft ? as of about 10 minutes ago i cant connect to the game or forums.wow-europe.com and i think its either local to me, or local to o2.

Can anyone check ?

Just tested that link on a Virgin Cable and BE Value ADSL line, working fine here - both of those connections use OpenDNS, could be that if its still not working your end.

EDIT: Read above, more than likely DNS server settings - change it on your ethernet/wireless connection to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.

BE's/O2's DNS servers do have frequent farts :)

Can anyone on BE or O2 test this for me nowish. I'm reading on wow forums (on mobile) that it may be a ISP issue.

Edit : yeah i didnt think it was a DNS issue.

I am getting random disconnects, dont know about wow, but even just normal web browsing. One minute it'll be fine then drops out the next, i am also on be*..

Definitely an o2 problem..and possibly Be. Randomly not getting connections to certain sites/IP ranges. For instance, I can't access my own dedi server that I know other people are playing Left4Dead on right now :p

news.bbc.co.uk and a few others are dead slow on my be connection using opendns at the moment.

Edit - had been for a few hours, soon as I post this everything is back to normal.
