Hi

Just bought one of these on the bay, as i was fed up of my old and knackered nokia 3510. I relise i should ask this BEFORE buying but i read some reviews and all seemed good, but what are peoples opinions of these phones? I intend to make full use of the Wi-Fi / bluetooth / email / tomtom like features, so it seemed like a good phone to go for.

Thanks :)

Its a great phone for a compromise between full featured PDA functions and size. I've had mine for about 3/4 months now and its been great (until recently its developed an issue with powering on...I might have to hard reset later)

Make sure you start it up in corporate mode so that the O2 branded stuff isn't installed - the processor, although enough to cope with tomtom, performs better without unnecessary stuff running in the background. You'll probably want a decent sized memory card for media and maps too.

ive got a 1gb card coming with it so that shouldnt be too much of a problem. Im not sure how i would go about installing windows in corp mode, the phone is second hand but i'll get the restore cd with it.

If its still O2 branded, then when you turn it on it should give you the option to start up in corporate mode anyway using the code 0506.

That will get rid of all the junk and makes the phone MUCH faster. I've not had any problems running any apps so far - no crashes due to software at all.

had this phone a few months, and i love it. however, i did go from an xdaII so the keyboard was a god send... and the size is fantastic. give it a change to get used to having a windows mobile, and after that you'll love it. probably.
