Just a warning I guess, I received a text allegedly from O2 saying

"o2: Fancy a new phone or £100 credit? Remember to resign with O2 @ o2renew.co.uk or on 0800 xxx xxxx by 31/08. Terms apply Stop SMS txt "Stop txt" to 81145"

If you look at the WHOIS for the domain and track the address, a lot of companies seem to exist at this address, so very fishy indeed. And O2's way of rewarding customers is thru treats...

Its not a scam, I had a letter from O2 last year with the same site, they offer £100 credit or a choice of 4 pretty rubbish phones. Get far better deals from ringing them.

I just got that text as well

I had the offer from them in a email ages ago.

As mentioned, you'll get better deals if you threaten to quit

I remember telling o2 i wanted to swap to orange, And until i said this code word "orange" they couldnt care but once i said it they wouldnt let go of me even though they couldnt seem to offer any better deals than orange by a long shot at the time
