Obesity is not a choice

Surely Tesco finest and the organic is a more equal comparison

Tesco Finest carrots don't seem to exist, but even if they did, I always consider Finest/Taste The Difference/etc veg to be specially bred to be tasty, colourful and have a good texture.

Organic carrots should be normal carrots, grown in an organic fashion, so the same type of carrot, just produced differently, allowing me to compare the difference of that production method.

At least in my head that is how it went :D

"No till" farming is starting to take off massively in the USA now to try and prevent the huge "dustbowls" the intensive farming has created where the land is now useless for even that style.

No till and a more, crap cant remember the word inclusive where you look at all factors not just one? Approach is gaining traction and looks set to really improve things

But as always it's a slow process people are invested in systems and it takes time to love to new ones

Aye, its a no brainer really. Cultivate the soil in ways that make it deeper and more fertile soil that holds more carbon... scrub carbon from the atmosphere using life forms to do it while also improving our soil.

Is it permaculture you are thinking of? Maybe one of its variants like aquaponics or agroforestry? Or the mob-grazing system?
