Try Video Lan Player - link. This is free, works with a wide variety of operating systems and it'll play most video files without needing a codec

i wasn't trying to rub it at anyone

i'm just sceptical about if it will run smoothe or like a flick show etc.

I’ve watched the movie and wow

I love the way that the npc’s are not scripted and they work 24/7 and that they learn like we do etc. though the only thing that is bugging me is that the enemy’s seem to easy kill? I’ve ordered from play anyhow

anyone know any other game footage movies? also they said about vampires? can you be one?

You'll have plenty of times in the game where you'd wish you'd saved the game before commencing battle.

You can be bitten and given Vampirism. It has many advantages in game but personally too many disadvantages. As soon as I was bitten, I went of to find the cure, which was a hell of a job I'll tell you. The sun burns and destroys you and when you feed on people, you often cause problems in the process and end up getting kicked from guilds which just becomes too much hard work in the end.

sounds good to me :E i've orderd it from play, so what addons / mods are good? also do you get thrown right into the game or does it allow you to have a tutorial or something like that?

A universally respected mod is Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul but haven't played it myself.

It leads you in with linear fashion at first and you won't be impressed but then when the game opens up it presents a vast array of diverse directions with which to progress.

Why should you be so skeptical? If that machine has trouble with anything out right now then you've ******* something up big time

Turns out this guy was only running it at 800x600, which is viable i guess

Just got the collectors edition for £20 from a local store.
It's fantastic once you work out how to stop it crashing every 5 minutes

What type of guilds are there do you need to join one?
also can you get pets?

Fear - max on everything - rez 1600x1200
min 17fps
average 35 fps
max 99fps

fps distibution
35% below 25
43 % between 25/40
22% above 40

rez 1280x960
min 15
average 31
max 89

fps dist
40 below 25
35 between 25/40
25 above 40

and hl2 is odd , max settings no vsync - fps set to default 300fps and it does it stuff

Off the top of my head, there's the:

Mages Guild
Fighters Guild
Thieves Guild
Dark Brotherhood

and far more factions

You don't need to join any of them but if you do it'll enhance the game. AFAIK you can't get pets but you can own, furnish and staff houses

thats okay then so you can just break in and make the house your own? and then buy a pet or something?
