Oblivion Combat Tips

Anyone got tips for combat? i struggle with more then 1 enemy, just seem to get abused?

whats good armour (heavy)? and a good weapon (blade)?

Tips:

Run away and try to just get one to follow you at a time, don't try to fight a mob.
Things like paralysis spells rock.
If it gets out of hand leg it to the nearest NPC and they'll help you out. Then after it is dead you can loot the corpse.

Use a weapon you're skilled in, preferably one that is in your major skills for class section.

I got my speed up and how I can retreat from just about any monster before he can get a hit in then nip in for a quick 1-2 then back off again, it funniest with Ogres and Storm Astros they just flail at you and then you nip back in.

Also learn to use block its a massive help. If you are having real problems you might have unbalanced your characters leveling, in which case use the difficaulty slider to make things easier for a while.

im ok running away, but on one mission im helping 2 brothers on there farm, and tehres 4 running after me and i got abused

didnt know tehre was a difficulty slider, lol

summon spells can be pretty darn usefull aswell, pop a zombie when something comes after you and hopefully theys hould attack the zomb instead, giving you a chance to lay the smack down on em.

Yeah those gobbos can be a pain, especially that beserker. It took me a few attempts to get through it without either me or one of them dying.

Summon skelly to take some hits and then just get the most powerful weapon you have and mash them. Always have a shield and use block often...
