Oblivion Help (Spells)

Hi I am after some help on Oblivion. Been playing it a while now and really liking it. However I am a bit confused about how I can aquire new spells. I am on Level 7 and have the health Restore and Flame spells (oh and the Guardian summon). My question is how do I get new spells that I can use all the time? I know you can buy spell scolls but these only seem to work once. How do I learn a new spell and keep it? Am I being thick and missing something?

You can buy them from people in the Mages Guild, I think you have to join it first tho'.

Also, if you get The Wizards Tower from the marketplace you can create new spells from scratch, adding and mixing ones you've used in the past.

Unfortunatly my guys magicis too poor to use any decent magic.
(But he's hard a nails wor kid )

Don't think you need to join the Mages guild to buy spells from them. Plus there's two spell shops in the market district of the Imperial City.

To the OP - there's a mages guild in every city btw.

Ok thanks I will give it a go, just to make sure once I have bought them will they appear as a spell I can use more than once?

Of course they do They appear in your spell list and you can assign them to hot keys just like your other spells.
