Oblivion problem

Okay i have oblivion game of the year installed and i just swapped it in gamestation, i still have it installed but cant uninstall it because it needs the disc to do that, so im kinda stuck i just want it off my hdd.

Surly you can just remove it via add/remove programs, no? :confused:

Nope it keeps saying that i need the original disc to uninstall which is kinda weird :confused:

Hm, yes that is odd, don't know what to suggest sorry.

Edit: All I can think of is borrow a copy of a friend and use it to uninstall, but that's kinda obv realy

Either that or download an ISO from a torrent site, mount it then uninstall.

EDIT

You might be able to get away with a MINI ISO image instead saving your bandwidth.

Or just delete the oblivion folder and the save game folder (in your user directory somewhere), remove any start menu shortcuts and if you feel like it remove the registry keys (if you can find them).

Gears of war as my gf's got oblivion for the 360 anyway but not g.o.w and gow on pc looks better
