Generally in the stable outside the gate of which ever town or village you are in. Make sure you get onto the correct horse when you find it or you'll be in a world of trouble :D

best way to get money is by doing this

This code has a time span on how long it will work because it involves looting a body that will eventually disappear. If you go to the Talos Plaza in the Imperial City, there is "Dorian's House." Sneak into the house sometime when he is home and kill him before he can leave the house. Now, loot his body--one item at a time. When you get to the gold, only part of the amount will disappear; the rest can be looted over and over again. Do this for however much gold you want, but be careful as this only works once per character.

i did this and got 2 mil :)

if you bribe him first he has more on him so you get more each time you loot :)

Didn't that utterly ruin the gameplay for you?

i agree i wouldnt do that. There are many ways to 'cheat' in oblivion with glitches etc but it really destroys the game. Dont do it.

The best way to genuinely get money is to join up with the guilds and work for them. By the time you reach the higher levels (20+) you will find that most bandits along the roads carry at least one valuable such as a glass or ebony weapon. Also if youve got the balls head for the plane of oblivion, whole bunch of valuable stuff there especially on the Xivali's and dark mage dudes.

Hope this helps and enjoy your stay in Vvandenfall ;)

The other easy but slow way (cheat) to make money is to save before betting on the Arena. Basically you save the game and then bet, if you lose just reload the old save, if you win save and repeat the process.

old thread i know but in answer to your Q yes as your strength stat increases so does your carriage capacity. Also enchanting armour/weapons with the ability "feather" removes some of the load.

A good trick i found later in the game was this. I became a master of light armour (just get hit lots in light armour) and thus my main armour suit when worn (primarily combat enchanted) weighed 0 so i could carry a second suit of light armour without penalty. i then enchanted these with feather/stregth mods. This menat that as i cleared a dungeon in my uber fighting suit i could then change to a suit allowing me a carriage capacity of about 1052 (with some potions thrown in)

i have a question, and i thought i might as well inculde it, a) in the imperial city theres a guy that coillects ayelid stuff, his guard told me he has loads up stairs, i checked it out and found nothing?

question 2 is there a particular way to pickpocket, i can never do it a imperial quard and its a bit touch and go with every one else, also, does rohsann ever stock anything good becasue im level 19 and its a bit pointless nicking her stuff

question 3 im being followed by enemies even form pale pass even though ive been throught the serpent place and im in bruma, i can fast travel or sleep its major annoying, i would go kill them but its around 9 trolls and like 8 akaviri skeletons

Crikey eerrrr okay.

A) no dont think so its a mission thing.

Q2) you just need to get your skills up WAAAAAY high. Lvl 19 is not WAAAAY high (try 40+)

Q2 b) No the shops never stock the best items but at lvl 25+ you find it all over the place (bandits etc) shops are best for selling stuff and she gives some good prices if 'persuaded'

Q3) kill them or travel so far on foot that they dont get loaded into the next area, when you fast travel the world fast travels too (hence leave one place in the day arrive next at night) so the monsters keep up. Personally tho id kill them just tackle them one by one near a large city so that the gaurds can help.

Hope this helps
