We're definately supposed to. I think it was scheduled for the week just ending but maybe held up.

The horse armour is there albeit slightly expensive

That stuff is for the 360 version afaik. Somewhere on xbox.com it states that the Orrey mod is already available as of last night except Europe couldn't see it available.

I don't mind the idea of charging small amounts for updates (and these look fairly good) - as long as developers/publishers don't start leaving stuff out of the full releases just to make even more cash out of their games.

Why dont you mind? I think it's a joke they expect us to pay more on top of a £40-£50 game just for gimmicky things like horse armour. Terrible.

I don't mind the paying for updates, But I do feel the horse armor is a bit of a rip off, in comaprison PGR3 giver you 12 new cars for 400 points.

One of the 'updates' for Oblivion (the mage tower) is required to complete a quest in the original game. Rather than patching the quest... you pay for it. Also begs the question of why you need a mage tower when there are the Mages Guild quests.

i dont mind paying 4/5 quid for extra content, but thats just wrong

To me I'd rather pay for a couple of extra quests than pay 400 points for a few new cars.

A new track - now that's a different matter.

The horse armor is 200pts? Not 400....

Also they've said these updates will be around 200pts each as there still experimenting with what each thing should cost.

Can't remember tbh, it was on the major nelson blog. Or was it somewhere in the OcUK thread? Someone was complaining that they couldn't complete a quest, and then someone else pointed out that the mages tower update was related to it. It was a miscellaneous quest, not a core one.

I believe it adds an additional quest. It paves the way for more things to do, which, I am not against them charging for them to do it.
