Obviously, essentially, basically

I think that unless you're referring to the difference between something actual and something relative I.e. humidity, the word 'actually' can be removed from any sentence and the sentence will still actually make sense.

Was that deliberate? :p

Obviously, I basically don't care about essentially everything the OP is complaining about

"Daily basis". Now that really grinds my gears. What's wrong with "daily"? Or "monthly"?

Waste of ink, electrons and my patience.

It drives me nuts. I try and drill it out of any of my sales people. So many of them needlessly use the word obviously at the start of every sentence.

The other one is when they try to sound more professional by saying "yourself" instead of "you". "I will do that for yourself" and so on.

O/T a bit I guess, but yourself was a word that was in common parlance in South London pubs in the seventies/eighties, when dockers, lightermen, and Black Cab drivers were earning well, and not afraid to put their hands in their pockets.
They’d go to the bar, order 4 or 5 pints of lager or Guinness, a couple of vodka and tonics, scotches etc., then they’d say to the barman/barmaid, “Yourself? or the abbreviated version, “self?”

Not a word, but one thing that REALLY grinds my gears that appears to be increasing at the moment is when people reply to a Whatsapp message when it's obvious what's being responded to. Sometimes people reply to the message directly above!

Obviously I literally honestly believe at the end of the day when all things are said and done I'm going to essentially have to say that it is what it is.

I'm just going to pop to the shops, pop in on the way home, pop it in a bag, pop pop

yeah, using the word pop is unreasonably annoying to me for some reason :p

If we're throwing in other nauseating examples of weird corporate speech, I felt like I was (literally ;)) going to throw up when I received an email at work from someone trying to sell something I don't want that said "I'd just like to bubble back up to the top of your inbox". Horrendous.

You guys really need a bit of blue sky thinking, this is clearly a very closed mindset. Take these thoughts home and let's touch base tomorrow, reach out if you need me. I think that going forward we should have a little thought shower on a daily basis to round up the day and put these wheels in motion.

Aaaaaaand breathe
