just was curious ... wat do people with 2000 posts and above benefit from using the forum and constantly giving advice.... dont get me wrong i am extremely grateful and without you would be stuck more than once :)

just was curious i take it you work for oc, and possibly get payed? or out of kindness of your heart?

Very few of us work for OcUK - even in the mod team.

I guess it's the sense of community mostly. I have had a posh meal courtesy of Spie though. That was a fun evening.
 
Many people have learnt a great deal here, and feel it's nice to give something back (me included) .... then there's GD and the spammers :p

For me it's partly because I find the forums are one of the generally more civil forums i've found on the net, and a source of much amusement (and some annoyance).
