OC RAM Upgrade

Hi Folks,

I was hoping for some help on what I think is a fairly standard problem.
I bought a Quad 6600 Ultima 8800 GTX overclocked system from OC about 8 months back and its been fantastic.

I took the 2GB memory option at the time but have just invested in another 2 x 1 GB Ballistix 1066 Memory. There was a note at the time mentioning that with a 4GB memory loadout the overclock would be reduced to 3.1-3.2Ghz.

This system comes with a IP35 Pro Mobo and in this I have had a look at the OC Guru settings in the BIOS. At the moment they read:

External Clock: 378Mhz
Multiplier Factor x 9

Dram Speed (CPU : DRAM) 1:1.25 (DDR2-945)

Can someone advise as to the best settings here to hit the 3.2Ghz target I need?

Voltage Control Reads:

CPU Core Voltage: 1.4575
DDR2 Voltage: 2.200V
CPU VTT 1.2V Voltage 1.20V
MCH 1.25V Voltage: 1.29V
ICH 1.05V Voltage 1.55V
ICHIO 1.5V Voltage: 1.55V.

Do I need to alter any of the above?

Even if someone has the same 6600 2.4 oc'ed Ultima 8800 GTX system with 4 x 1GB installed and they could post their "stable settings" it would be much appreciated.

As I say it runs the Abit IP35 Pro Mobo and will have 4 x 1GB Ballistix 8500C5 1066Mhz memory.

Any help much appreciated as I am new to overclocking and am currently reading one of the forum guides on the subject.

You *should* only have to up the MCH voltage to maybe 1.34v to run the 4 sticks.

I will take that on board, thanks.
Will lowering my cpu clock speed to 3.2Ghz from 3.4Ghz mean I will have to change the DRAM Speed setting though?

Leave it at 3.4ghz.

The chip, the board, and the 4 sticks of memory will handle it with no problems at all. You'll just need to up the northbridge (MCH) voltage a notch to boost it for running 4 sticks.

But be sure to note down all the current settings on the off chance that it doesn't work.
