Occasional memory problem

Hi all.

Occasionally a process (usually explorer.exe) will throw up an error. Basically to the effect that "the memory could not be 'read'" or "the memory could not be 'written'".

Then the system shuts down because the RPC service has terminated.

This happens with the system is overclocked, and when it is running at stock speed.

Any ideas appreciated, system specs in sig.

you run memtest on it yet?

I haven't.. but I will do that when I get back this evening.

Memory problem then?

I used to get a similar error message with assorted programs, sounds like a memory problem. Dell replaced my RAM and I've had no problems since.

OK, well I've memtested. And not a single error :confused:

Any ideas?
