Oceansize

hopefully going to catch them on this tour. Frames is an amazing album - I knew if one band could pull off a decent third album, it'd be Oceansize!

Who supported last night? I'd love to go and see them again
 
Can't remember their name I'm afraid...No offense to them....actually, screw it...offense to them! The support band were diabolical if you ask me. Utter run of the mill rock music with the most unimaginative riffs known to man. They made me angry.
Aparently they were called onto the tour at the last min (I presume due to hopesfall pulling out).

Anyway, Oceansize absolutley rocked the house. Amazing band.
 
Effloresce is in my top 5 albums of all time, EIP was less than decent but this new effort has got them right back on track.

Go see them live, as people have said, they're pretty special.
 
Wow....EIP was the album that got me into them. The new stuff is fantastic though too. Not really heard anything before EIP.

I'm well into my time signatures and these guys have them in droves as well as all the dynamics. They can make the most bonkers timing sound straight.
 
I'm just listening to new album 'Frames' again now and it's utterly amazing.
I think I'd be so bold as to say album of the year for me so far. :eek:
 
Yeh they sit well in the British Rock Scene (Reuben, Biffy Clyro, ....)
Go see em! And yeh everyone loves dodgy time signatures.

For the love of God get hold of their first album then, it's still by far the best IMO, such an incredible piece of work.
