Rob43, you need to submit your score via the form in the first post. :)

and come on 38xx owners... not one single score yet. i guess you're all too busy playing crysis. i'll be giving that a miss after trying the demo on my x1950pro. :( :D

Still it was 2x3870 Vs ONE 8800GT, highly doubt they will bring out any drivers that will massivly improve performance now as all the 3870 is, is a 2900 on a lower process so whatever boosts the 2900 boosts the 3870.

look at all the results for quad core/dual cards. there isn't much in it.... :)

3DMARK 06 QUAD CORE / DUAL CARDS

Uploaded my new score marc with my Q6600 with 1 core enabled.

This counts as a single core right? :D

sorry but that won't work. :D

you'll come up on the quad core chart because you're using a q6600. i've hard-coded all the cpu / core information - you'll notice when you submit the form, you don't get a choice as to how many cores you're running - it's automatic. and it's been like that since day one - i haven't changed anything. :)

ok scores updated. we now have an ati 38xx user on the list. looks like futuremark have pulled their fingers out at last. so come on all you 38xx owners...... :p

One strange thing, futuremark peg me as an E4300 but its an E2160...

it seems to do that quite a lot. not a lot you can do really. the program picks it up ok so it must be shoddy programming on their part if it can't publish the correct cpu. :p

so long as you enter the right cpu when submitting the form here, at least we can see a fair comparison. :)

hmmn, that's odd. admittedly i've been faffing about updating my pages via ftp (changing html to xhtml) but the pages should have worked all through that time. the last score was submitted at 10.28 this morning and i just checked again now and it appears to be working fine.

sorry guys. i had it all validated as xhtml strict. it didn't even occur to me to check it in other browsers - i use FF2 mainly. should be ok now though. :o

i thought all 19in widescreen monitors could run 1280x1024. my nasty old 19in does it no problem. 06 ran at default settings - i didn't have to change a thing.

have you tried forcing windows to 1280x1024? although the desktop will look pap because it's stretched out of proportion, maybe it would allow the benchmark to run at the right settings?

you'll need to re-submit it. you might have to wait though - my webspace is currently playing up. it's been up and down all evening. it's only free webspace with my isp and it's never a priority with them when it goes wrong. :p

i'd imagine it will be fixed during office hours tomorrow. :)
