Hmm just overclocked my GTX from 600/900 to 625/950 and got 300 points less lol

You are not alone....well not a GTX but that happened to my GTS. Was at 600/1010...took it to 625/1020, completely stable but...lost over 200 points....not a clue!!

It's your core or memory (most likely core) needing more voltages. I was getting the point loss from 847Mhz Core over 833Mhz but a slight input of core voltage and my scores jumped higher.

Just a shame Nvidia need volt mods for this.

I see you have the same GPU as me (8800GTS)...I tried nTune but couldn't get used to it. Have you tried using ATITool? The name doesn't really help but its an OC tool for both ATI & Nvidia GPU's....you can get it here. :D

downloading it now mate. give it a shout tomororrow - tbh, I'm not expecting a great deal, but any bumb's a bump. take care, :)

can anyone please confirm rivatuner v. ntune ? I may be making a massive mistake, but they seem to conflict.

One doesn't appear to have been auto updated ... its on your sql though ? :)

(I can't have Sulli beating me by 1 point :D )

Nice score mate :) Will try to beat it after some breakfast and a couple of paracetamol for my hang over, my poor head!
