Until you discover that y uninstalling sp3 from xp you can gain 700-1000 points
Nice improvement and better than mine ratio wise. I went up 5000 from a £150 spend and another 1000 points from a further £25 spend.

Yep, your CPU is definitely holding you back. Going from an Opty 175 @ 3GHz to the chip in my sig gave me a points boost of over 3k, my rig is so much snappier too
