:confused: The other day I saw that OCUK were selling some BFG 8600 gts cards for £49.99 so as I needed a new card for my other pc, so I bought one. Just got home tonight only to find I in fact got a 8600 GT 256 not GTS 256. Should I accept it or should OCUK replace it with the correct card, or have OCUK got the description of the card wrong on their website.
 
you should be able to return it under the sale from distance act or something like that providing its within 14 days and unopened
check your order confirmation email as well to make sure you have ordered the correct one
 
I definately ordered the correct card as the despatch message is correct, The only thing is I have removed the cellofane wrapper but not opened the box as I noticed the card was not as it should be at that moment.
 
I have'nt installed it yet,it is still in its box un opened. I will ring OCUK tomorow and see why I have received a lesser card to what I ordered. The strange thing is that the BFG 8600 GT OC is not listed anywhere on their site but BFG 8600 GTS OC is. The power of the card is not majorly important it is just for my ordinary pc (study etc), it is the principle of the matter.
 
The thing is that I have bought a card that was "on offer" but if it is a lesser card an therefore worth less originally then then offer is devalued. I guess I will find out at 9.00am tomorow morning.
