As OcUK currently stocks AMD reference cards, does that mean they are a reseller of AMD reference GPUs? I remember the AMD Direct Shop terminated shipping to the UK just after Brexit and never came back to supply the UK market. However, I noticed that OcUk and Bolton started to sell the reference cards a while ago. Does that mean there is distribution contract setup for future AMD products. For instance, the 7000 series that is coming out in a few weeks?

No, afaik it was just a one-off to help AMD to clear a backlog (the other place too).

We're still screwed in the UK in regards to the AMD Store :(

The AiB's will just be rebadging the reference cards and selling them a hundred or 2 over the pricing (as per usual).

No its AIB's producing the reference cards not direct from AMD. One is Sapphire I believe.

that is a shame, if AMD had the distribution channel to the UK it would surely help them. Like the FE models are super popular over here, think they are missing an opportunity. OcUK should be their main UK channel I think

Nvidia and Intel both use a retailer for their reference cards, AMD needs to get their **** together. I guess AMD UK market share is so small that they simply do not care.

Digital River is the supplier for AMD, and you can be very grateful you have never dealt with them.
I don't know about that, I ended up with a free 2080ti FE from them when they refunded me in error and asked me to repay via a different payment method  They eventually stood down on their request.

That's what I think. Until people stop buying Nvidia that won't change.
I remember back when twice trying to buy a 6800XT from AMD Direct, first time said my payment wasn't supported and the second time it said they can't ship to Great Britain, ended up getting a 3080 FE from the retailer that handles FE cards, no such issues with that.

I'll be both trying for a reference card here gosh-willing, but in parallel I have a line on direct cards from back home in Murica I can collect mid-Dec, if no luck.

A shame they aren't directly availability in the UK as we'll have two points of mark up over MSRP/RRP. I'm guessing 7900xtx will be >£1100 day one.

But will it retain AMDs launch price like the FE cards do which was the advantage of buying from their website?
The only thing I can tell you is when I bought my vega 64 it was at msrp from overclockers. It was a reference design and was in a sapphire box

£ to $ is over 1.22 currently so zero reason the 7900xtx MBA cards in the UK can cost a penny over £999.99. (£979.99 more on current rates, that's asking a little too much though?)
Don't get excited, AiB's always slap on 10/20% for the LOLs for their rebadged reference cards.
