The final week and Z - Zoo (animal featured beer name).

Without dragging things out any longer than needed, I just want to take a moment to thank everyone that has been involved with the competition.

Be they new, old, seasoned pros or even sickly poor (;) alright sicknote), regardless if you managed to make it all the way through or not. Without you there just wouldn't be a game with all the smiles, tears, rants and laughter that help make our Saturday nights / Sunday mornings and frequently into the follow week :D

Cheers everybody (raises a glass) be proud of yourselves!

Raise a glass to the New BOTW Winner - Jokester :)

Oh and make sure you let Seabiscuit know your details!

Ok everyone. With the end in sight, OcUK are offering our limited edition beermats to members of the community who took part in this round.
If you've taken part in at least two weeks and you would like us to send you some OcUK Beermats, trust me your forum name, name and address and we'll get these out to you.
We won't be shipping them straight away as it's easier for me to get them processed in a batch at a time, so please have patience as I'm just in this competition for fun too. Honestly. (ok, I've had email problems that have been less fun. sob)

And no MrsSeabiscuit, you don't need to send me your name and address. :p

Congratulations Jokester. Well played. I raise a glass to you, and to Dirty Jester for taking six months (yes guys, he's taken that much time to bring us fun), for a great competition, that I have really enjoyed taking part in. Congratulations Jokester. Thank you DJ.

p.s. Jokester, you deserve yo win for that beer name alone.

Hollywood just couldn't write the script!

Commiserations to Marvt74 it just couldn't have been closer! Once again it just shows how close this competition can be!

Congrats Jokester! Well played sir :)

Congratulations Jokester. I honestly thought I'd have won it with my Maldivian Lion beer. I drank that on my honeymoon and thought it would've been a great entry for the Animal round. Although I contemplated buying a great names one this afternoon which would've won it for me.

Well done to everyone else aswell. I've had a brilliant time throughout and wish I'd not been a bar stool caller straight from the off in the first comp. ill definitely be in there next time though.

To be sung towards DirtyJester AT MAXIMUM VOLUME

(to the vague tune of My Way)
And now, the end is here
And so I face no carbonation
My friend, my beer is clear
I've drank my glass, of which is Belgian
I've lived a life that's full
I downed each and ev'ry double
And more, much more than this, I drank it my way

Wheat beers, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do and saw it through without regurgitation
I planned each malted course, each careful step along the pub crawl
And more, much more than this, I drank it my way

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you follow
When I gulped off more than I could swallow
But through it all, when there was stout
I drank it up not spit it out
I faced it all and I stumbled forth and drank it my way

I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fill, my share of lager
And now, as beers subside, I find it so full of laughter
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a dry way,
"Oh, no, oh, I.P.A., I drank it my way"

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has draught
To drink the things before he keels and not the words of one who kneels
The liver shows I took the blows and drank it my way!

Mate, you did yourself proud! You dropped down the table, fought back, almost won... and finished a joint second.

Besides if that is your missus in the police cap along with you (windows live icon/avatar) you're still winning! ;)
