OcUK Beers of the World Weekly Results - Czech Republic

Ah 2 points isn't a bad return on a beer I had to try out mid week last week. :)

Shame it really didn't taste of much! Managed to get my hands on one or two other czech beers over the weekend that were entered which tasted a bit better, Vratislav was pretty nice and Pilsner Urquell was alright.

Next weeks entry also has to be a midweek splash and dash (football starts for me on saturday so the internet cannot be manned) but my next entry is one I like (just always been too far gone to remember it was Danish)

Sorry I couldn't submit last week, I went out for a friend and we were headed to a bar with lots of world beers and wi-fi, thinking I could submit my entry from there, but when we got there we realized it was closed for their summer holidays! Ended up in another place nearby with no Czech beers or wifi. I'll plan better this week and not leave it to the last day :)

Oh yeah!!! Got my self to a shop and stock up on plenty of the good stuff bottled :D

Couldn't bring any back over sadly and the venue of the wedding was only serving stella or tennents, brought back some funny memories nursing a number of tennents pints whilst trying (badly) to dance away :p (nice of NI to be dry for a couple of days for these sorts of revists, normally it just rains)

Just back from a weekend in Prague. Had quite a few of those beers plus went to a 'beer museum' pub where I tasted 30 different locally brewed beers.

If anyone is thinking of going, I highly recommend it.
Krusovice and Staropramen are probably my drinks of choice in Glasgow but I think over the weekend I had maybe a couple of each and that was about it.

Really need to get out to Brno at some point for a visit to Czech land.

When are we voting for G, H & I? :p.

I want to know what I've got in store for the future.

Voting takes place on the second week of each group of three ie. We are starting group D-F so voting for G,H and I will be the weekend of England.

:)

If people want to increase the number of countries to say 4 or 5 then by all means post about it, but please keep that in the official thread:

I would add regardless of how many countries are voted for it would still remain one entry per week. Oh and this week is Denmark :)
