Ahleckz - IPA Chinook by Kernel of London
NOTE: EASILY in my top three favourite beers. A phenomenal beer.

GhostlyPea - Darkstar Espresso
NOTE: It's a real ale from Darkstar called "Espresso". It tastes very very very heavily of coffee, it's divine. One of my top 5 ales of all time. The bottom cup shows that it looks exactly like an espresso with its thick black coloring and the head settles (eventually) to look like crema. It's amazing I would recommend anybody to try this who likes coffee

pingwing - Hertford Castle Ale
NOTE: Anyway this weeks entry is ALE, I think I am either getting old or manning up and liking it (plus it was a beast of a hangover cure with steak).
Iv gone for Hertford Castle ale because it sounded like it was local, though its not and brewed in Suffolk. Shame as there are a couple of breweries around here but I can't enter a nondescript pint from the pub.
*DirtyJester reply* - You could have entered a draught beer as long as pic includes beer tap.

Seabiscuit - Slaters Ales Retro Red
NOTE: My beer for week 5 is Slaters Ales "Retro Red" bottle conditioned ale. Apparently a limited bottle, limited to 2000, but I think thats mainly due to the scale of the brewery.
We bought it direct from the brewery/head brewer, but it needs longer to settle (looking forward to the other bottles we have of this when they are clear, and not cloudy with yeast).

Don't forget to vote for countries G - I

Next week is France.

ooooooh great minds eh ahleckz, should have added a note to mine, as i said previously in threads my England choice is one of my most favorite beers period, absolutely fantastic brewery and real craftsman.

Is that 3 points all round?? fantastic!

Iceland is my first vote ;)

I've yet to try mine yet, but a Ringwood ale was the first ale I ever tried, so hoping it's decent.
I very very nearly entered the Darkstar Espresso as well! Glad I didn't now!

WOOP WOOP :D Everyone with 3 points!

Also cheers for the clarification in pub points I will remember it for next time ;)

Back up drink is Moonraker beer!!!! Who ever named that is a James Bond hero!!

Next set Germany, Holland and Ireland. Best 3 options I think...

Well my choice was rather nice, quite refreshing and very easy to drink albeit very little head which didn't last long either. It wasn't my first choice but they didn't have any Sandringham Diamond Ale in stock :(

Oh Kanifee, I also have one of their Brown Ales that I thought about entering but went for the Chinook IPA. Amazing beer, first time I've drank them but I'll stock up this week before my shop runs out.

Good effort everyone, I'm pretty surprised it was all 3 pointers. Looks like lots of effort was put into this.

Beeradvocate Ratings (they don't have many!):
Ringwood Fortyniner - 78
Wadworth 6X - 79
Shepherd Neame Early Bird - 79

Votes:
Germany, Holland, Ireland.

Best beer name ever :D (doesn't taste too bad either)

For the I choice I really like the sound of India (absolute sucker for a cold pint of Indian lager) but Ireland is what I am hoping for just for the awesome selection (and seeing if DJ just does the lazy option of Harp) :p

do get the stella, its astounding and if i could afford to buy just that it would be my one beer of choice, i want to try there whole catalog.
my local shop stocks a few as he is fond of them too so i have plenty of time.

It's the last weekend of the month so chances are I will either be over there or getting my supply sorted to come here! I'll have harp, even if it's not what I will enter either :p
