Have yet to try the Wadworths, will hopefully give it a go tonight. Thought I would keep it local for my entry :)

Kernel stuff is fantastic.

So is Rehill's your local shop? Would be seriously dangerous financially for me to live anywhere near it. I'm just about to make the 5 mile trip to stock up for the next few weeks.

Well done everyone, I finally got a three pointer :D

Haven't yet tried mine as I've been on holiday. I went to a local brewery and got a selection of six different beers to try :)


And my next votes are;

  • Germany
  • Hungary

Had friends down for the weekend and totally forgot to email my entry. Took the photo and everything. I got a bottle of my old faithful, Old Perculier. Would have been a very welcome 3 pointer but oh well.

Still, had six pints of Estrella and then seven bottles of Savignon Blanc on Saturday night so I think i'm excused of forgetting to email. :P

No worries, you were not alone :) I did send out quite a few reminders but alas....
 
Don't forget this coming weekend (Sept. 8th) and the French entry. There will not be any results posted until Sunday morning due to me working the nightshift. Same rules apply, have your entry in by 8pm Saturday night.

Meant to post in here before. Triple fff's Alton's Pride (GBBF Champion Beer of Britain 2008, woo!) is probably my favourite ale of all time, and is made just down the road from me. It's just a delicious, golden beer with a little bitterness and a touch of smoke. It's basically what I think of when someone says 'ale'. I took a quick trip to the microbrewery last week with the intention of getting a few bottles but went slightly mad:
