OcUK Beers of the World Weekly Results - England (and G-I Voting)

Don't forget this coming weekend (Sept. 8th) and the French entry. There will not be any results posted until Sunday morning due to me working the nightshift. Same rules apply, have your entry in by 8pm Saturday night.

:)

Woah, only just seen this thread. I see unusual beer. I like. How does this work and how do I play? :p

Hi Russ.. main thread is here matey: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18425919

we are 5 weeks in already (A-E played with F = France this saturday) but by all means if you want to join in then post in main thread and I'll get you sorted with the competition email address :)

Meant to post in here before. Triple fff's Alton's Pride (GBBF Champion Beer of Britain 2008, woo!) is probably my favourite ale of all time, and is made just down the road from me. It's just a delicious, golden beer with a little bitterness and a touch of smoke. It's basically what I think of when someone says 'ale'. I took a quick trip to the microbrewery last week with the intention of getting a few bottles but went slightly mad:

Haven't tried a couple of these before, but will get on it now!

Oh and I thought I'd been busy today :p:D

Gotcha, and done/replied in the main thread :)

Can't see the main thread in the forum though... weird.

It's pinned at the top of La Cuisine and the norm is at the top ;) I have replied to your posting buddy and sent you the comp. email address. Yeah you will be behind on points starting out but it's still a long way to go and the laughs are plenty :D

Good luck!

:D

Am I correct in thinking that I've missed England? ie Should I be drinking and emailing you a photo of France (so to speak) before this Saturday @ 8pm?

Correct on both counts!

Just trying the Ramble Tamble. Delicious, citrusy, American pale ale. :)

As Belmit has mentioned I'm afraid you have missed the England entry BUT fear not as U is still to come and it could well be U = UK ;) as for the rest you are on the money.

@ Belmit, you may have seen some of my posts earlier in the main thread? Picked up a few unusual beers today and have slowly been enjoying :)

Check out 'now drinking' for one of them ;)
