the range difference between brands?
So HIS will be 279 and 215?
Doubtful m8, HIS are a premium-brand when it comes to Warranty etc. The OcUK Value ones will be those prices, but tbh with a 2-year warranty directly with the shop itself I don't think their will be a difference
6970 will be £279 - £339
6950 will be £215 - £249

6970 not so great comparing that 570gtx are going for £30 notes less.

I'll invest in a pair of these when dx11 and tesellation becomes more prevelant. Probably would have got a set tonight but looking at the horizon most of our games coming are gimped ports which of course the devs will claim aren't.

Thanks for all the info and especially the heads up on price. I will be placing my order as soon as I see them for sale.
Sadly I am not holding my breath, in the hope, that I get the cards before next week Thursday. Our local DPD depot is a total mess at present - they can just not cope I understand. The poor blokes who do the deliveries to my post code are going dilly. The word from them is that 6 to 8 days is how long next day is going to take.
Us Southern Softies just can't handle the snow.

So far tests shows to be slightly quicker than 6970.
Although these "new drivers" might change that.
Wait for 5am for confirmation.
Wait for the reviews, as I did not test a 570. From what I've seen they will be close, though 6970 does seem to have better clocking potential.
