I shall be leaving my house at around 0800 and heading to the A34 at Oxford and ride down. I plan on stopping, if time permits, at Tothill services McDonalds for a sausage and egg mcmuffin and coffee.

I should be there around then as well. Maybe 0915 as it usually takes me an hour to get to Newbury but I've never done the a Oxford ring road on a Sunday morning so I'm expecting an easier time there.

Me too. Bike's all good to go, I'll be leaving Kent just before 8am should be there for 10 (according to Google's approximations

It makes me smile, how much tread car tyres have and how little bike tyres do given the difference in contact patch.

No contraption just man power...

I did buy the lever someone mentioned in another thread, its epic but really need to make something to secure the tyre down otherwise you still have to wrestle it off

Small contact patch = smaller volume of water to displace.
