** OcUK BRINGS 980Ti SUB £500 !! **

So £500+ for the flag ship card has become the norm and everyone just takes it? lol
The Titan X is the flagship card. This is the 'spoil AMD's new flagship launch' card.

There's still margin here, better believe it, though Gibbo as a very experienced and capable buyer is cleverly running the margins tighter to build market share, get better deals and upset the competition as he loves to do :D

Agreed, NVIDIA went full retard because there are too many people paying £900 for a graphics card and convincing themselves that this makes sense ;)

Hopefully some of them have been burned enough by the 980TI that they think twice about being fleeced by NVIDIA next time around. NVIDIA will keep charging while people keep paying.

Hi Gibbo

I have sent back a Inno3D GTX 780 iChill HerculeZ X3 Ultra DHS Edition 3GB under its warranty period to OCUK. Its never really worked since I got it, I was advised that testing would take 5 days (Guessing at OCUK). I was then told that the product GX-033-IN has been sent back to the manufacturer for replacement or repair and it may take 28 days.

I been looking at getting a GTX 980 Ti after resolving this card, selling it on with my current temp card to fund a new one.

Can you clarify are you only testing warranty returns for Inno3D before they are sent back the manufacturer?. Bit confused all in all as my experience seems a bit different to your statement.

You really need to ask this in the Customer Service forum.

The herculez is a beast of a card.

I have mine running at 1274 non boost ( cant remeber the boost as need to be sat at my pc to look at it ) and 8ghz on the memory with +10% power and I belive there is more headroom still... also the herculez comes with a good backplate on it as well so for £509 you would be crazy to buy a reference one ( the board itself is a reference PCB so if you want to upgrade to water in the future you can.

Inno3D even box the tool needed to remove the heatsink

Thanks for that! How loud is the cooler? This is a deciding factor me! Been considering the SuperJetstream as apparently even at full load OC'd it's one of the quietest around.

The cooler isnt loud at all. Even at 100%... ok its loud at 100% but I dont hear it over my headset

( note the cooler has never hit 100% under normal operation. I just ramped it up to see what it sounded like )
