OcUK Captcha's

This didn't work:

Looks like some one at OcUK doesn't know their punctuations rules.

"Zero is" :( :p

The one site that really annoys me with them is Rapidshare. Good job I've got a download manager that I just add the links to all the various RARs in and it downloads them all and does the Captcha's for me :)

Is it just me or is that why they have capatcha's in the first place?

Thus they make them harder and more annoying?

need to think of a new solution that cant be analysed to take an answer from.

i hate them things, i know to stop spammers but they could be easier on the eyes

Most of them are fine especially in comparison to that overclockers one. There doesn't even appear to be an alternative for the visually impaired.

Some of them are also easy to see, but are like 30 characters long, though those ones usually come with the option to refresh the image, so I refresh it until it's a short one.

I think they use captchas just to annoy people in to buying a premium account.

Same with megaupload, you can scrounge quite a lot on their free services.

I've managed to leech 1.1GB 720p TV episodes from megaupload without it moaning about downloading too much and making me wait. :D

Zero's = Zero is (or even has)

Who's zero? :p

First of all, you can not be sure that an apostrophe is being used with the intention of replacing the word "is", as it is also used to define ownership. An example is "David's car".

However even if viewing the apostrophe as a replacement of the word "is" you come out with "Zero is shown as 'image'".

Pretty simple to me.

If you're going to start talking about grocer's apostrophes, then at least pick up the one in the thread title, opening post, post 12 and 27.

I did notice them, but people take it too personally if you complain about their punctuation. Plus, it was pretty obvious that "Zero's" was meant to be the plural, so it wouldn't have been possessive.

Note in my quote I "fixed" one. :D

As for is/has possessive, I mentioned all 3.

"is/has" "Who's Zero?" :p

Just man up and start correcting people, it makes you a better person.
