Free carriage is a very sensible idea. You could downgrade it to 2nd class recorded delivery to save on cost, and then people would get cheaper things from OCuk rather than just saving up for a big order and (maybe) going elsewhere.

The x1950 pro is purely an example, would be good for AGP users tho. I suppose a more up to date prize would be an 8800gts 320Mb.

It could be a good idea. In a way it could encourage people to buy equipment they would need to win the challenge.

Prizes wouldn't have to be anything special. Maybe the odd thing out of b-grade or something like that.

Actually even some more multiplayer tournaments / ladders would be great.

Exactly!, I read a post from someone in my link above who bought 2 7600gs' to compete in both categories!

Suppose so, but I think we deserve better than B-Grade, don't you?

I think that we shoud have challenges that last a month and maybe have 6 a year. So, if the prizes were £150 (retail) each, thats only £900 per year but think of the buzz it would create.

Hmm, something F.E.A.R realted maybe, but I also love my old Voodoo2. My current hardware is beyond crap, so nothing from that. It could have Cairnsey on it too, like you have your name on yours.
