Done some tweaking with my new rig:

CPU is at 4.7GHz, Cache at 4.3GHz. Not really tweaked the Ram yet.

While I was at it, thought I'd do the 3930k too @ 4.9 GHz. Goes higher but I couldn't be bothered to open up the case and crank up the pump speed

Around £3k for the intel system (including watercooling) and £1000 for the fx8320, 7950, crosshair v formula z system including waterblock/rad/pump/res.

Yes I don't think the 3930k system could ever be considered good value for the performance

That was without any tweaking. RAM is stock XMP apart from 1T.

Custom loop. De-lid. Nothing above 70deg. (IBT max etc etc).

Still can't read the first one!! That's the one i'm sorta interested in

I got 203 single thread the other week when PCZ beat my 197, your full out was 1015? So only 14 more than me, will get that with ease!

Did you notice any difference with XP? This was done on 7 with all background still running.

Mine was W7 just using classic mode

I'm far too lazy to have XP etc, that's why i've not gone into the PI thread. Me being lazy as hell is the reason i've still not tweaked anything with this rig.
