My fellow folders, stompers and slackers; I am pleased to announce the results of the Combined Folding Event! For anyone who spectacularly failed to notice this event, read the first page of the Event thread.
As everyone should know by now, between 18th December 2010 and 2nd January 2011 most of Team 10 joined forces under a single username, the mighty Stomp_Monster! The aim was to simultaneously reach as high a rank as possible in the global PPD rankings and achieve a PPD of 1 Million.
WE DID IT!
Not only did we smash the 1 Million PPD mark, we also managed to make Stompy the SECOND fastest producer in the world. We were only out-gunned by team Anonymous, which doesn't really count! In addition, we managed to earn well over 16 million points - 16,681,892 to be exact!

Most points dumped in one day
In addition to boosting our egos with being the world's greatest named folder we also managed to raise a nice bit of money for charity. At 16.6 Million points, and rounding up to the nearest 1M the following Team 10 members raised a whopping £187

These members all pledged £1 per 1M to the Pande Group. A great big thanks to all of you!
I would also like to thank everyone who took part. It was all a bit of fun and every extra point you dumped for Stompy increased the donations the Pande Group will receive! A special mention should also go out to two non-Team 10 members who contributed to our Combined Folding event. They are:
Phoenicis and jondi_hanluc
Both contributed at the detriment of their own team, Custom PC & BitTech, so a big thanks to them!

When I have your address I will reply with my PayPal and Bank Transfer details. Once all the money has been collected I will make a donation to the Pande Group.
I tried to contact Vijay directly asking if there was a way of donating to make it obvious this is a joint effort, but I have received no reply. Unless someone has a better idea I simply plan to put the name down as Team OcUK Folding Event Donation or similar.

Those are some very impressive statistics. It is only a shame we couldn't do this longer-term, but I think a lot of people started to miss battling among ourselves!
