Best Poster: rp2000, I feel the usual "big" posters like Nokkon, Wyrdo, Kreeee, dannyjo have been fairly quiet this year, be it because of the quality of threads in the console section, who knows.

Since becomming UB I've been a lot less confrontational and have tried not to react to all the stupid baiting, so that may explain my posts being less obvious, but I still post as much as I always have. No idea why nokkon hardly posts anymore though.

Yes it's a bit of brown nosing too other people if you want to view it that way, but it's a laugh. No harm in it.

Best Console (How it's performed THIS year): PlayStation 3. Many more exclusive, better, titles this year than my other console (360)

Best Game of 2008 : LittleBigPlanet / Resistance 2 / Burnout Paradise Can't decide between them. Spent over 200 hours playing these 3 in total this year. (Only Tekken and SF games get more playtime from me but they are not "new" games) Nuff said.

Consoles gets its own awards? I guess it does have its own community. Best poster has to be the 'Robert' one who spends quite some time putting together threads for you lot.
 
Best Poster: Abooie, Creature, Psymonkee, Kreeeee, Inoshishi, Msmalls, Kainz, rp2000.... there are a few I like.
Best Newcomer: Robert1986 because he tries hard as opposed to trying my patience.
Best Community Contributor: Too many people detract from what was an excellent section so the list is now incredibly short.
Most Omnipresent member: Kreeeee
Best/ Favourite Thread: The standard of threads this year is shambolic. Robert puts great effort into his at least.


Best Console (How it's perform THIS year): Xbox360. Again. By a mile. 3 good exclusives on PS3 isn't enough and the multi-format titles are still under-performing.
Best Game of 2008: Football Manager 2008 or Gears of War 2.
 
Best console: 360, had no competition at all really. The 'main' PS3 exclusives MGS4, Little Big Planet haven't appealed to me as much as I thought they would (I didn't end up sticking to LBP level design, got bored and only did the campaign which was average) , as for Resistance 2 I'll be getting that soon.

Best game of 2008: Nothing at all has stood out to me this year, unlike 2007. So I'm gonna say Left 4 Dead as I've always wondered why nobody has made a game like it, but now they have and it rocks. Can't wait to play the Dawn of the Dead mall campaign. (PC user made campaigns)

Best Newcomer: No idea as Im new to the sub-forums myself...

Best Community Contributor: thesnipergecko - I know he was a bit disappointed with the PS3 and the breadth of games but hes persevered and does some great in-game vids (ever thought of machinima (sp)?) and now got a little PS3 games/members thing up...

Most Omnipresent member: rp2000 - like a strange odour in the corner of a room hes always somewhere, ready, waiting and opinionated...

Best/ Favourite Thread: I found the Kratos/Nariko costume code angst in the LBP thread pretty funny - still an ongoing search (btw email is in trust ;):p)

Worst Thread: Every one regards console sales or each generic 'which console to buy' - its a shark cage full of stinking trouble...

Best Console (How it's perform THIS year): Thought the X360 plateaued this year (though I dno what else they can do - though the Miis just were very very wrong :p), while the PS3 seems to be getting better and better (then again the only way was up). Definitely the better exclusives (when they turn up) and is now making a fight of it. Most improved in the class - gold star...

Worst Console (How it's perform THIS year): I expect this is going to be a recurring event, but its the Wii - its just like the dry tundra of Fallout 3 - just nothing but mutated animals and everyone wanting to take pot-shots at you. Nintendo, do a Sega and do what your good at - publishing epic games cross-platform...

Best Game of 2008 : Tough one between FIFA 09 and Resistance 2, though Res2 has to have it considering it turned a die-hard PC FPSer into someone who enjoys a bout of Chimera killing. The game isnt THAT special (its not Quake 3 ;)), but what it does, it does right - the charm of the CO-OP is way too addictive. P.S. I love online BAP..

Worst Game of 2008: I dno, cos I dont buy crap games (cough), though I did buy Soul Calibur 4 and regretted it from day one...

Continued overuse of smilies - ps3ud0 - its just a bit :o:eek: and immature so stop it :D...
