im a bit 50/50 atm to whether i should buy this or not? its now £13.99 and it would be my 2nd ever purchase direct from steam store

I think it may be too late to buy now. For me personally, the whole spark for CS has gone. It's full of just mods and rubbish these days for a new person to start. Try L4D or COD4 imo.

i have L4D and it is good, i used to play cs 1.6 years ago thats why im interested in CS:S its just that i never seemed to get round to buying this game

EDIT: as for COD4 im tempted but £29.99 seems a bit pricy especially now COD5 it out they could lower the price a little

EDIT2: ok i have took a gamble and just gone for it

, i am now downloading CS:S (should be about 10 minutes @ 1.6 mb/s) i miss this game from when i played it years ago (old cs 1.6), so thats why im getting this one

Just joined the server, was on piranesi.. server emptied out before the map changed.

I know some people like these random not-so-played maps but they're honestly not going to populate the server to it's capacity.

just downloaded this yesterday, tryed a basic server to start with but got slaughtered lol, its so hard, i did ok on the deathmatch server though with the respawning (im used to UT) although my kill/death ratio could do with a little work

any tips for me???

also has anyone seen that vid ^^^ #271 found it a while back, funny lol also check www.pwned.nl if most hav't seen it already
